PREMIER is CSIA Certified in all Locations!
On August 5, 2015, PREMIER successfully completed the CSIA certification process for its Decatur, AL office. This certification, along with the Cincinnati, OH office certification completed on May 6th and the main office re-certification completed on March 4th, brings the company into full CSIA certification at all locations.
PREMIER is one of only 86 system integrators worldwide that currently holds CSIA certification. Companies are audited and certified individually by location. Each location is measured against 79 audit criteria focused in nine business areas: 1) General Management, 2) Human Resources Management, 3) Marketing, Business Development and Sales Management, 4) Financial Management, 5) Project Management, 6) System Development Lifecycle, 7) Supporting Activities, 8) Quality Assurance Management and 9) Service and Support. The audit criteria are defined in the Best Practices and Benchmarks manual published by the CSIA organization.
The company's core certification team including Jess Freels, Mike Baker and Tony Valasek along with the Quality department, had been working for over a year in preparation for this year’s certification process. CSIA is the Control System Integrators Association, a global trade organization by and for system integration companies. It seeks to advance the system integration industry by helping its members improve their business skills through sharing industry expertise and promoting best practices for business management.
PREMIER's main office location in Smyrna, TN has been CSIA certified since 2006.
